One day not so long ago, I was quickly rushing to work at Johnson and Johnson as I was running late. Being the Gen Z college girl that I am, I can’t survive a day without my Starbucks run bright and early. So, despite me being in a hurry, I still made sure to pull through the Starbucks drive through to get my grande hot caramel macchiato to make it through the day. 

My cup came with fully equipped with a stopper to keep its contents in the cup nice and hot. But, as I was slightly speeding down the high way, I removed the stopper from the cup and placed it in my side door trash and tried to take a sip of my coffee as it spilled down my blouse and my slacks. Plus, it spilled all over my cup holder when I placed it back down. And not only did it spill, it didn’t stay hot for much longer since it had nothing to trap the heat in. I was devastated, burning, and had to go to work in macchiato stained clothes because of this. I knew that there had to be a solution to this problem.

That’s when Sammi’s Stoppers was born. Not only is my business venture recyclable and reusable, but it provides a way to keep your drink warm and in the cup! Sammi’s Stoppers are coffee stopper holder attachments that have adhesives on them that allow for you to store your stopper during a sip! There is no need for anyone to be like me and spill their hot drink all over themselves and in their cars  by being able to reuse your stopper instead of needing to throw it somewhere, this problem can easily be avoided! There are endless possibilities for this venture, and I would love to get your feedback and opinions on it.

We are hoping to start off by selling to big coffee vendors such as Starbucks or Dunkin, so stay tuned and look for us at your local shops!
